Job Description

We are currently seeking an Accountant / Senior Accountant to join our growing team!
You will be responsible for the full spectrum of day-to-day accounting operations for CDNetworks Singapore subsidiary. This will include but not limited to managing month-end closing process, accounts reconciliation, general ledger, taxation, audit compliance, reporting and consolidation of financial statements. You will also partner with the Financial Controller in all activities related to finance budgeting, forecasting and analysis, hence providing valuable insight on the corporate performance of the subsidiary.
This is a hands-on, operational position that requires heavy attention to detail, successful time management to meet deadlines and strong collaboration skills to work with stakeholders across geographies.
  • Perform all activities associated in preparation of full set of accounts (AR, AP, General Ledger, Balance Sheet, P&L, etc.)
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing process (Revenue, Expense, Accruals).
  • Process, record and review all vendor invoices, recurring bank payments, staff expense reports, business travel expenses, corporate credit card transactions, etc.
  • Prepare and consolidate periodic financial statements for analysis, forecasting, budgeting and cash flow projections.
  • Handle all statutory reports and relevant filings for GST returns, corporate income tax, etc.
  • Liaise with external tax agents and auditors during financial audits to resolve all audit queries and ensure regulatory compliance.  
  • Liaise with corporate bank to ensure smooth transactions for all payments locally and internationally.
  • Support the enhancement and implementation of financial internal control procedures.
There would be opportunities expand your portfolio to support in sales operations activities in the long-term. This will include sales forecasting and analysis, contract management, billing support, incentive calculation and sales team performance management.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Finance and/or Accounting with relevant equivalent professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA, etc.)
  • At least 3 years of solid accounting and audit experience.
  • Familiar with accounting standards such as IFRS. 
  • Knowledgeable in accounting system (SAP) is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Meticulous and organised so as to manage a multitude of tasks with simultaneous deadlines efficiently and accurately.
  • Self-motivated, independent with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
