Note: This position will be based in (US (Diamond Bar), Singapore or Hong Kong. 



The Head of Sales Strategy & Management is a key leadership position and will play a critical role in advancing CDNetworks’ commercial execution across several key markets within a fast-paced, highly competitive environment.

You will lead sales strategy planning, forecasting, reporting and execution while providing direction to a multi-disciplinary Customer Excellence function comprising of Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing and Service Operations professionals. You will also continually develop and build a first-class sales organisation to penetrate new markets and accounts, driving sales initiatives and processes to ensure revenue growth.

The ideal candidate should be a driven, high-energy Sales leader with sound business and financial acumen, strategic vision, strong communication skills and extensive experience within the technology sector, especially with expertise in CDN, Web Security, Media Acceleration, IDC and/or other Cloud Computing services. You should also have a proven track record in successfully accelerating growth, market share and profitability for a business.



  • Spearhead the formulation and execution of a comprehensive sales plan in line with industry trends, market opportunities and business objectives; this includes customer identification, acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership to the Customer Excellence function so as to achieve short-term and long-term goals in terms of profitability, growth and market share.
  • Manage and drive the sales planning, sales forecasting, sales compensation design and management, sales budget management and sales funnel optimisation, in order to maximise sales efficiency, productivity and performance.
  • Drive visibility and alignment across Senior Management and Country Sales leaders around key performance indicators and opportunities for sales performance improvements.
  • Partner with global Sales, Marketing and Product Management teams to define programs to increase revenue growth, including but not limited to, brand awareness campaigns, lead generation, digital marketing initiatives, etc.
  • Work with Service Operations teams to identify support process improvements and product enhancements.
  • Develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs with country Sales leaders.
  • Provide regular and accurate reporting of business performance across all countries to key stakeholders and senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in progressive sales and leadership positions.
  • Strong understanding of the Internet ecosystem, CDN, Cloud Security, OTT/Media solutions, Cloud infrastructure, Managed Hosting and Cloud Computing services.
  • Strong experience leading, developing and collaborating with remote cross-functional teams.
  • Strong collaborative and cross-organizational relationship skills, knowing how to quickly impact the business and deliver quality information and results while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and effective presentation capabilities.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.
  • Excellent business judgment skills and ability to analyse complex business issues.
  • Ability to prioritise, manage and deliver upon multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time dependent on business needs.
